Sintered bushes

Sintered bushes

This type of bush is made starting from powders in metal material – iron or bronze – sintered at high pressures and temperatures; this procedure not only makes them very compact and resistant, but also means they are able to retain the lubricant inside them, making them smooth running and non-abrasive.

Their radial size is larger than contact bushes but their resistance to loads and wear is superior. They are mainly used in rotary motion systems or for short traversing movements.
