Cylindrical roller bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings

The cylindrical roller bearings consist of solid outer and inner rings and of rows of cylindrical rollers with high load-carrying capacity; they are suitable especially for arrangements in which the radial space is limited and may be supplied with cage or in the full complement version. The versions available are indeed single-row, double-row and 4-row roller bearings.

The radial load that a roller bearing is able to carry is, on a par of size, greater than that of a ball bearing. A variant of the roller bearing is the needle roller bearing, whose rolling elements is smaller and consequently takes up less space.
