Self-aligning roller bearings

Self-aligning roller bearings

This type of bearings consists of rolling elements made up of barrel-shaped rollers and of solid rings; the outer ring has a hollow contact surface to compensate for misalignments between shaft and seat, caused by constructional tolerances or by thermal expansion. These bearings are able to carry very heavy-duty loads; they are often used in heavy mechanical constructions or constructions whose operation is generally particularly committing.

These bearings are available in different versions with clearances, different types of material and cages and stabilisation for high temperatures, so that they can be used in the harshest of applications.
